Well Louisiana, prices are dropping, and solar is becoming more and more popular. In addition to lower prices, there is a new solar law that effects most homeowners in the state. This past legislative session HB 751 was passed and signed into law. HB 751 was a Solar Bill of Rights, that dealt specifically with neighborhood restrictions. NO LONGER can a homeowners association restrict your right to solar!!! (unless you live in historic downtown Baton Rouge or New Orleans)
